About the Artist

ROBERT ROMERO

This self taught artist was born and raised in San Diego, CA where he currently resides.  He has been sharpening his skills as an artist for the past 15 years through various Mediums including; acrylic, pen, ink, pencil (gray and colored). His work is inspired by urban tattoo, graffiti, and cartoon art. He uses bright colors and surrealistic images to tell a story. He graduated from El Capitan High School in 1990 and attended Point Loma Nazarene College on a soccer & scholastic scholarship. He left college after two years when he was offered the chance to pursue a Professional Soccer career. While in college and in the pros, Robert took up coaching youth soccer.  Since then he has made a name for himself in the community as a highly sought after coach/director of youth soccer as well as a cabinet maker.

Robert is very passionate about all of his endeavors and hopes to one day become a well-known artist.
